Dedicated to providing quality health care to our patients and to improving the well-being of the communities in which they live, Bethany Hospital of Tacloban City provides access to health services for all of the people in Leyte and Samar islands, regardless of their ability to pay. Bethany provides charity care to children, seniors, mothers and infants, the unemployed and all who find themselves in need of care and without resources.

Serving the underserved is certainly not a new concept to Bethany. We trace our beginnings back 80 years when the physicians of the Presbyterian Church USA left the lucrative practice in United States and came to the Philippines to serve and provide medical care in Tacloban City where indigent and lowest-income families common. Today, with God's guidance and following Christ's Healing Ministry, the society health needs and our dedication to charity care and community service remain very much the same.

Bethany's ability to render crucial medical services to the disadvantaged, particularly low-income individuals and families, is enhanced through your charitable gifts. In many cases, no other source of reimbursement exists for these crucial services.,
